People to People International
hi~ i've just finshed apply to the land of the rising sun program and i am extremely excited. however the trip is (as u all know) reeealy expensive..i'm doing weekly bakesales and make about $30 a sale, but i want to know more effective ways. any help is greatly appreciated~!!
There are so many good ways to come up with the money... you could try collecting recyclables or putting together a car wash. If you know of any local bands, you could organize a small concert. You might even try going through some old things and having a yard sale to get rid of what you don't want.
I hope you have a great time on your trip! I just went last summer and it was so much fun. Japan is amazing. :)
how old are you? i know the economy sucks right now, but you could get a part time job. if people ask what you want for christmas and your birthday (assuming it happens before the trip), ask for money. go through your stuff and try and sell the crap you don't really need/want anymore.
When I went with People to People I was sponsored by my church and I sent out letters to local business asking for donations and had them sent through my church and I fnanced almost my entire trip that way.
I am jealous because you are going to Japan but my trip to The Former Soviet Union was pretty sweet...
I agree with this suggestion. I did the same thing and it worked well for me.
that is a brilliant idea~! thank you!

heyy :] i just got that people to people international to to go to new zealand and austaila .. but im pretty confused. where will i be staying when im there a hotel or something . does it cost money .. how much . ???? please help me . thank you write back :D
usually it cost around 4 thousand dollars. what i found is that alot of the times, the places visited are free and its somewhat of a scam. I declined my invitation (and cried when i found out it was a scam) but definately check everything out before giving a sure answer. that's mhy best advice
